Join us at Spark-Y HQ for an inspiring showcase of youth-led innovation! This special Open House honors the journeys of 30+ interns and apprentices who have spent their summer immersed in real-world sustainability projects across the Twin Cities. From building aquaponic systems and green infrastructure, to developing educational curriculum and supporting our mission behind the scenes, these young changemakers are making their mark.

More than just a program, Spark-Y is an ecosystem—where youth take the reins of a living, breathing organization. With mentorship from dedicated staff and experts, our interns and apprentices gain hands-on experience in everything from urban agriculture and education to nonprofit development and accounting. It's work on and in the organization, all grounded in Spark-Y’s mission: to empower youth through hands-on learning in sustainability and entrepreneurship.
